I love The Upper Cut and Joyce
I love The Upper Cut and Joyce! I have been going to Joyce for over 20 years to have my hair done. I followed her from Houston to Bellville and have not been to another hairdresser since. Her salon is fun and she carries only the best hair and makeup products. In the last several years she has added a small accessory boutique. There is always something fun to buy. I have often told her I wished she lived next door so she could do my hair everyday. It always looks fabulous.

My Mother loves it
I take my Mother to the Upper Cut almost every week. She really enjoys her visit there. I guess ladies like to be made to feel special. Her usual hairdresser is "Jan" who is always so patient and respectful, but on a couple of occasions when Jan was gone, the other hairdressers were great too. The Upper Cut is simply a small town friendly place, with a hint of New Orleans charm owing to the owner.

Best Salon in Bellville
The Upper Cut has been my beauty salon since it opened. The newly renovated facade makes it an even nicer place to relax and get "myself" rejuvenated. Her salon is decorated in a crisp modern style. Joyce has been cutting and coloring my hair since she came to Bellville to work. She is an excellent beautician. She listens to what I want and then in less than an hour and a half, I come out of the salon feeling like a new person. When my children lived here, she also did their hair, whether it was a cut, color, or for a special occasion. The staff at The Upper Cut is friendly and they all watch out for each others' clients.

Voted Best Salon in Austin County
I now know why it was voted best Salon. The owner Joyce is an excellent colorist and stylist. My color always looks very natural and vibrant. I have very fine hair and Joyce is a pro at dealing with difficult hair and hairstyles for weddings. She used to live in Houston and when she moved to Bellville I followed her and so did many of her Houston clients because they were not able to find someone who could get the color right the first time. Also, Joyce is warm, friendly, down-to-earth and professional which is hard to find today. I recommended some friends of mine to her and they also are now driving from Houston to Bellville which says alot about the quality of her work. We sometimes carpool since the gas has become so high, but won't give her up.
The salon is located in a beautiful newly renovated shopping strip on Hwy 36 in Bellville. It caters to all kinds of clients young and old.

Best Beauty Shop in Austin Co.
I have been going to this shop for almost 11 years. Joyce is my beautation and has been from the first time I walked into the shop. When Joyce is busy or out then Shawn takes care of me. It's great to know that when your regular beaution can't get you in someone else can take care of you. Jan has been there as long as I have been going to them and even before. It's great to know that there is staying power there. Patty is new and will be there for a long time I'm sure. WALKINS are always welcome. If you are new to the area are have been here for a long time and haven't tried them give them a call. You'll be glad you did.
